chantelle boyes
Chantelle grew up along the shores of Georgian Bay in the small town of Meaford. She has travelled and seen many parts of the world, but the endearing energy of Georgian Bay has always brought her back to her roots, and this is where she happily calls 'home'. To her, this area has such a special and rare beauty. Each piece that she creates comes as an expression from her heart and her interpretations of the imperfect perfection and beauty of Georgian Bay. She hopes that each piece is able to go full circle; starting with her inspiration for the piece, energy and love going in to creating it, and finally by finding a special place in someone else's life; resonating with them, on the same level in which it was created. The hand written and spoken word are something that are so dear to Chantelle, and increasingly more important, as the world seems to be focusing more and more on technological communication. Much of the passion and meaning is lost in the words one chooses to say, when not communicated through an effective medium. Chantelle's work tries to capture the lost art of communication or the beauty in a simple written word or poem. Each of Chantelle's pieces are written with passion and raw, candid emotion from the soul. |
